Summers Back at BorgataDennis Summers, Jr (Charlottesville, VA) wasn't planning on coming to the Borgata Winter Open (BWO) until Thursday, but snow in the forecast got him out of Virginia a day early. "Good excuse to travel," said Summers who has several Borgata big cashes over the last two years.
"I got here at Level 5 and-a-half," meaning he had 15 minutes to spare before registration closed in this event.
Summers was runner-up to Josh Brikis (Pittsburgh, PA) in the $1,500 event during the 2010 Poker Open good for $66,000. He also was sixth in the 2009 Summer Open Main Event earning him $62,000.
This $200 tournament is a good warm up for the weekend and the BWO Main Event which gets underway Sunday.
