Players are still arriving and finding their seats for day 2 of the Borgata Winter Open Championship. With the combined day 1A and 1B fields, there will be more tables in action today than either of the two previous days.
Also the tables are all starting out 9-handed, which means that the 539 returning players will occupy 60 tables at the start of play.
Andy Frankenberger
A WPT Champion that I missed in the field is Andy Frankenberger. He won the 2010 Legends of Poker Championship and final-tabled the Festa al Lago Championship, finishing 5th. He also currently leads the WPT Season IX Player of the Year race. He returns today with a slightly above average stack of 42,650.
