After seat 8 opened for 24k, Robert Boyko flats in the big blind. The flop came K Q J with two diamonds and Robert checked. His opponent fired 25k and Robert called. Turn was another King. Robert checked, seat 8 bet 45k, and again Robert called.

River was an 8 and the third diamond on board. Robert checked, seat 8 shoved for 110k, and Robert snap-called. Seat 8 showed KJ for Kings full of Jacks. Robert rolled over KQ for Kings full of Queens to take the pot, sending his opponent to the rail. Robert chipped up to ~500k.
Over on table 8, a little excitement ensued. Ken Silberstein (Edson, NJ) had moved all-in for 95k, but the player in the small blind didn't notice and put in 35k to raise the big blind. The floor was called and ruled that the 30k he put in on top of the small blind had to stay. He could then call the remaining 60k all-in, or fold. He opted to fold.

Jia Liu (Brooklyn, NY) was in the big blind and after looking at his cards, took a couple of seconds, then called. Ken held J7 suited and was domninated by Jia's A7 offsuit. The board came K K 6 2 2 and Jia took the pot. Ken headed for the payout desk.
Barbara Rogers (Lock Haven, PA) is one of the few ladies who made it to day two. She finished in 104th place, earning $1,071. She did re-enter once, so almost broke-even.
