Play resumed after the break with blinds of 12k/24k with 3k antes.
Chris Walker got all-in holding KQ offsuit and Romie Montano looked him up with A7 of clubs. The flop was a mixed bag: K 8 2 with two clubs. Chris took the lead with top pair, but Romie picked up a flush draw. The turn was an offsuit 7, which gave Romie more outs. The river was not one of them, however. It was an offsuit 8 and Chris doubled up to over 1 million. Romie was left short.
Romie Montano
He got his chips in good with pocket Queens. Vincent Basilica made the call with AT offsuit. Romie couldn't catch a break, however, as the board came T T 9 2 K and Vincent took the pot with trip Tens.
Romie Montano finished in 3rd, taking home $8,605. The amazing thing is that Romie was the short stack on the money bubble and on the verge of busting out in 37th place, but managed to come back and hold on all the way to 4th place.
