Event 9: Another River

Another monster river in the ladies tournament.

Kim Edmonds (Toms River, NJ) had her Opponent covered when she called her all-in on the turn.

At the time she didn't know she was drawing to a one-outter.

The board was A-9-8-10, Kim tabled 9-10 and her Opponent felt good with the J-Q straight.

Then BAM, Kim hit her man (I mean woman) as the case 9 fell at the right time.

With that 36,000 she's now up to 50,000.

"I didn't put you on that" said Kim who admitted she got lucky and is playing for her daughter Ashley who wasn't able to join her today.
