As players bust out and tables break, chips start to aggregate in to a handful of bigs stacks. That phenomenon is happening now. They're down to 15 tables, 150 players.
Matt 'muffins' Mazzeo is up to 400k after busting a 'kid' on his left. They got into a pre-flop raising war with the player on his left until all the chips went in. Matt had pocket Queens and was up against T9 of diamonds (I kid you not). The flop was K 4 2 with one diamond. Then the Jack of diamonds fell on the turn. "I was sweatin' when that turn came" Matt said. He would be crippled if a diamond or a Queen came on the river. It was an offsuit 4, though, and Matt pulled the pot, taking the chip lead.
Dominic Telymonde (Atlantic City, NJ) is up to 346,500.
John Sill and Francis Anderson
Francis Anderson (Poughkeepsie, NY) is up to ~320k and John Sill (Pinehurst, NC) was not pleased to get moved into the seat to the right of the big stack.
John's originally from Valdosta, Georgia (I can spot a southerner at 20 paces) and doesn't get to play as much as he used to because he's got a newborn baby back home.
