It's been quite a run for Palermo who's now two for two in Borgata Winter Open events. This third place finish goes along with a 4th place ($47,832) in Event 1 capping a three day poker marathon.
"Sleep can wait," said Palermo. "When we hit this final table that's when the adrenaline was flowing."
Palermo figures that since Wednesday morning he's played 52 hours of tournament poker with only 12 hours of sleep.
"I really wanted to win this," says the Jersey Shore restaurant owner. "But I'm not disappointed, I was blessed to make two final tables and played the best I could play."
Palermo has earned more than $53,730 with his two cashes.
