The money bubble finally burst and the first few players have headed for the payout desk.
While on the bubble playing hand-for-hand, Romie Montano (Eatontown, NJ) was one of the shortest stacks in the room. He managed to hang on, survive the bubble, and is still in with 33 players remaining.

He's an electrical contractor by trade and owns Ramec Electric, but enjoys playing tournaments. He played the main event of the World Series this past summer in Las Vegas, but busted out on day three. He plans to go back this summer and try his luck again with some more experience under his belt.
