Over on table 3, Rafique Ahmed is sitting behind a fairly large stack of chips. He's from Dix Hills, NY, and makes a living as a project manager. He likes to play the tournaments here at Borgata regularly. I guess you could look at this event as a one day project. He just has to manage his way to the win.
Rafique Ahmed
While I was watching, he doubled up a short-stack who was all-in with AK. Rafique's pocket Kings were cracked when an Ace turned, but it barely put a dent in his stack. He's still got about 160k.
Over on table 1, Larry Gold (Long Island, NY) is also doing well. He's up to about 125k.
Down to 9 tables - 90 players remain. 36 will get paid.
